- Q2 - 322 teams (including 216 byes randomly drawn)
- R1 - 196 teams (including 35 exemptions - Teams finishing in positions 1-3 of last season's equivalent level 9 leagues, except those now in step 8, or those exempt to 2nd round. Plus those relegated from last season's equivalent level 9 leagues,and AFC Hornchurch)
- R2 - 128 teams (including 44 exemptions - teams reaching the 4th round proper last year except those now in level 8)
