- Q1 - 164 teams
- Q2 - 352 teams (including 270 byes randomly drawn)
- R1 - 206 teams (including 30 exemptions - Teams finishing in positions 1-4 of last season's level 9 leagues, except those now in step 8, or those exempt to 2nd round. Plus those relegated from last season's level 8 leagues)
- R2 - 128 teams (including 25 exemptions - teams reaching the 4th round proper last year except those now in level 8)
- R3 - 64 teams
- R4 - 32 teams
- R5 - 16 teams
- R6 - 8 teams
- SF - 4 teams
- F - 2 teams
